Prior to admission in our care homes we talk to the client, and where possible their relatives, family and friends about what they like to do and just as importantly what they would like to do.
Our care homes have a dedicated full-time Social Activities Coordinator, who organises a weekly and daily programme of activities. A client’s social life does not end in a care home.
All our activities can be done on a one-to-one basis or as
part of a group activity. Activities include:
- arts and crafts
- music to movement
- live performers
- singing and movement
- quizzes and games
- day trips
- hairdressing
We strongly believe that, whilst all our clients are individuals,
it is important that we tailor our activities to the capabilities
of our residents.
